This was one of the best parts of our summer 2012 european trip. We arrived at the Sorrento dock from Capri in the morning. As we deboarded the hydrofoil, a driver was waiting with a sign just as arranged two weeks before. The Mercedes was new and comfortable and stocked with bottled water. The driver was very professional, had a good sense of humor and extremely knowledgeable about all of the areas we toured. The drive up the coast was breathtaking. We stopped in the various towns to relax a bit and site see. We walked on the black volcanic beach in Positano, visted a few of the grand hotels along the way and had a wonderful lunch and cappuccino high up in Ravello with the most beautful views. Today we toured the Amalfi coast with Lello. We had an amazing day and he made it very enjoyable and a lot of fun. He provided us with lots of information and kept us interested all through the tour. We give high marks to Lello and to Sorrento Limousine Service. We will never forget our sing along with Dean Martin. We have had two tours with Sorrento Limousine Service. One when five of my traveling companions joined me as we toured the Amalfi Coast. We were picked up promptly at our cruise ship and spent the day enjoying and learning about this fabulous part of Italy. Tony, our tour guide, was everything we needed: polite, outgoing, knowledgeable, interesting and a very safe drive. The second (two years later) included transportation to Pompeii and arranging for a licenced tour guide of the ruins. This time, Lello was our driver and he provided us with good information, was polite, outgoing and knowledgeable as well. Both tours had clean, comfortable and safe Mercedes. They provided us with water and made us very comfortable. We give them the highest of marks and will use them next time we are in the area.

My husband and I along with our two teenage children visited Italy for two weeks in July. One of our stops was Sorrento and I decided I wanted to book a private tour of the Amalfi Coast because I thought it would be the best way to see everything that we had wanted. I located Sorrento Limousine Service on line and read many, many raving reviews, so I decided to book our tour with them. Tony was our driver and picked us up promptly at 9:00 AM at our hotel the morning of our tour. Before we began our tour Tony informed us of our itinerary for the day, but was also very flexible about making other stops if we wanted. As we traveled along the coast Tony pointed out many different areas and was able to give us a tremendous amount of history which was fascinating. He is extremely knowledgable and it is evident that he takes great pride in what he does. As we visited each of the the towns (Amalfi, Positano and Ravello) Tony gave us time in each town to explore and guided us as to what we should see. Each town was nicer than the next and I felt that because we did have a private tour we were able to see a great deal in one day. Driving along the coast is for experts only!!!! The roads are very narrow and quite treacherous and the other drivers are not always so courteous! Throughout the tour I was very relaxed and did not have to worry about any of that. During the tour Tony offered us water, snacks and even lyrics to sing some Italian favorites. He even had our teenage children singing as well. They also appreciated his humor throughout the day! As I stated earlier Tony was willing to make stops along the way that were not anticipated stops. He saw that I was interested in pottery/ceramics and he told me to hold off buying anything because he wanted us to visit a pottery factory along the way. I was so happy that I waited and took his advice, because I was able to purchase several beautiful pieces from the factory. They even took us for a tour of the facility which was great! Tony also took us to an olive oil factory where we were able to sample and purchase different olive oils. I can continue to go on about our wonderful tour. I would highly recommend anyone who is visiting the Amalfi Coast to hire Sorrento Limousine for any tour they would like to take. WE had a wonderful tour and it was truly the highlight of our visit to Italy. I recently was traveling from Sorrento to Salerno. I wanted to see the Amalfi coast and a few of the towns. My driver, Lello, was courteous, knowledgeable & entertaining. I was picked up at my Sorrento hotel at 9am. Lello drove me along the Amalfi coast, with 1 hour stops in Positano & Amalfi town. I was then dropped off at my Salerno hotel. Such a relaxing & fun way to spend the day! I would highly recommend this company & Lello!

Tony and the drivers at Sorrento Limousine are the best! Sorrento was our first stop on a 2 week Med cruise. Having been to Sorrento before, we were interested in traveling the Amalfi coast to Poisitano. I found this company on line, contacted them, and had a response immediately despite a 9 hour time change! I don't think Tony sleeps! He and I worked out the details of the trip and we were met exactly where and when we were supposed to be by a great driver named Stefano. We had a wonderful day with him driving along the coast and an unforgettable lunch at a restaurant he chose in Poisitano. Stefano is also a terrific guy and it was fun getting to know him. I highly recommend this company.

Arriving at 10am in Naples after missing two nights sleep and not being able to check in to our apartment until the afternoon, we made such a great decision to use the services of Sorrento Limousine Service. Tony met us at the airport and although jet-lagged, we were not too tired to enjoy a wonderful introduction to the Amalfi Coast. The next day we were also spoiled by Lello who took us to Herculaneum, Pompeii and popped in an unscheduled visit to the Archeological Museum in Naples (traffic wasn't too busy on Sunday afternoon). We would never have been able to see so much in such a short time and in such a relaxing way using public transportation, so the money spent was well-spent and created lasting memories for myself, my 11-year old granddaughter, my son, his wife and their 3 year old. I agree with another review - all my emails were answered instantly by Tony as I was figuring out how to organize things before we left Canada. A very professional company and highly recommended.

I needed transportation for me and my family from the Naples train station to our hotel in Sorrento. I decided on Sorrento Limousine Service after reading trip advisor reviews. One of the great decisions of our trip to Italy! I received a prompt response to my inquiry and Tony even recommended a tour to Pompeii, which was not something we would have thought to do. We thought it may be interesting so we agreed to let him arrange it for us. We were so glad we did. We were greeted at the train station by a very nice driver named Cirro who provided us a very comfortable drive to Pompeii. At Pompeii we had an amazing tour guide , Paula, who made our 2 hour tour so interesting and engaging that my two teenage sons even enjoyed it! It was a great experience for us all. We were then driven to our hotel in Sorrento. A few days later,Tony picked us up promptly at our hotel to take us back to the train station. I cannot say enough about his professionalism. He even walked with us into the train station to make sure we knew where to get our next train to Sicily. Way beyond great service! I highly recommend to anyone traveling in this area. You will not regret it!

Sorrento Limousine Service is excellent. As arranged, we were met at Naples Rail Station by a smiling Lello who then assisted us with our luggage and drove us to Pompeii where he provided us with bottles of cold water for our 2 hour tour led by Paola - who had also been booked for us by Tony and his staff. Paola is an exceptional guide who made us forget the 40 degree heat by transporting us back in time to help us really understand what life was like in Pompeii before its destruction. At the end of the tour, Lello was waiting for us and he took us to our accommodation in Sorrento. He pointed out things of interest and stopped so we could take photos. The next morning he collected us punctually at 9am for a full day tour of the Amalfi coast. What a wonderful day we had, made even better by our superb driver and guide. The coast road is very windy and narrow, but we felt completely safe and confident in Lello's driving. On Saturday Lello collected us from our hotel and returned us to Naples Train station and even assisted us to purchase our train tickets. We cannot speak highly enough of Lello - he represents everything that is good about Italy: warm, friendly and helpful. We were sad to say goodbye to him.

We were very impressed with the very professional and well organized tour we experienced of the Amalfi coast. Our driver- "Gianluca" was very friendly and highly informative as our guide on our one day journey. He was also very considerate and helpful in suggesting a wonderful restaurant for our lunch with a beautiful view. My two teenage daughters have a big crush on him too and were highly impressed by his knowledge and professionalism. I would highly recommend Sorento Limousine service and would actually use them again should I return to Italy again one day.

I found this limo service by reviewing TripAdvisor and booked a 'trip-of-a-lifetime' shore excursion for our entire party of 12. We planned the week-long cruise a year in advance, and the stop in Naples & getting to the Amalfi Coast was my one 'must-do' of the entire trip. Sorrento Limousine Service did not disappoint!! Tony was a real pleasure to work with online; no matter how many questions I peppered him with he was swift, professional, and kind in his every response. Since this was the only excursion our entire party was all going to go on,...the pressure was on to make it memorable. Tony gave excellent advice on how to limit our goals to what we truly wanted so we didn't just get rushed around to photo stops - priceless! The Naples port stop was the last of our cruise, and we had been very busy the day before in Rome (also with Sorrento Limousine). This excursion to take in just Pompeii and Positano was built to be relaxing and it turned out to be the highlight of everyone's trip! We were met by our guide Ann, our driver Ucco (sp?), and Guiseppe (our guide for Pompeii) right on time (tho the port of Naples makes it difficult to get to private excursion providers...a long walk!). Once we all finally found them we were on our way to Pompeii. Guiseppe kept us very entertained and provided lots of information about Mt Vesuvius and the area. Ann added even more depth to this info on our return trip; she really knows the area. Our visit to Pompeii will take much time to fully absorb....what an amazing experience. And Guiseppe really knew how to keep it VERY interesting, with his tales of how these people spent their 'free time' and kept their short life spans very 'active'. ;-)) We are all still saying 'family - here we go family' as he had to do all morning to try and keep us all together. I would recommend him to anyone planning to visit Pompeii, you will remember the place, and him, for a long time!! We parted ways as we then went on to Positano. It was a beautiful day - we fully enjoyed the ride over and Ann's guidance as a 30-year resident of Sorrento. We had made plans to enjoy lunch at La Tagliata, so we enjoyed exploring the town for about an hour and then made our way to the restaurant. While in town we saw a wedding-in-progress at the lovely Church near the shoreline. And oh yes - one of the great benefits of Sorrento Limousine is their smaller size minibus. We were able to get very close to the downtown area and so limit the steep walking - very helpful to our party. And we were in awe of Ucco's abilities to drive on those VERY narrow roads! He really knows the roads right down to each millimeter; we would certainly never be able to navigate those roads as he can. We enjoyed a wonderful lunch at La Tagliata, lingering over many plates of food and many bottles of wine.....in fact we enjoyed it so much we ended up skipping a stop in Sorrento we had been considering! Ann told us we were not like most tourists; we seemed to want to enjoy just the food & wine! And she was right, the wonderfully relaxing day was just what we all needed; it was an excellent way to top off our trip. We made our way back to Naples, enjoying Ann's stories and history all the way. And to top off our all-day trip she presented us with two chilled bottles of local Limoncello - very nice! I would not hesitate to recommend Sorrento Limousine Services and would surely book with them again myself. And if you visit Pompeii, you simply must ask for Guiseppe as your guide :-)) All in all the excursion was just wonderful, and I felt that the price was very reasonable for an all-day event.

As this was my family's first visit to Sorrento, I checked and found good reviews on tripadvisor about Sorrento Limousine Service so I decided to try them out. Cirro our driver made our holiday enjoyable and stress free starting from a smooth pick up at the airport. Totally enjoyed the fresh orange juice outside Pompei. He acted also as a guide giving a good commentary on the region and showing us spectacular views along Amalfi coast for photo taking.. . Thanks Cirro for great driving skills and the lemon tip. Four of us toured Sorrento Italy with Raffaele and it was the best way to see everything we wanted to. He was so friendly and a great driver and showed us a much better time than taking the cruise tours. We all would highly recommend having Sorrento Limo Service be your tour guide. We had hired them for two days and the second day we had another driver who was just as nice as Raffaele. We honestly think this is the only way to tour from now on based on our experience.

We found Tony on Tripadvisor a few months before leaving for our Italian Holiday. He was extremely prompt at answering our emails. As a driver Tony was very skilled at navigating the windy roads and he stopped fairly often so motion sickness was avoided. Huge relief for me as I typically get sick on roads like these. "Thank you Tony, we had a great day with you. We felt very safe with you as our driver. You were prompt and the information that you shared throughout the tour enriched our holiday. Thank you also for advising us what to go see when you dropped us off in each town. We also really enjoyed our lunch with magnificent views and delicious pizza." Tony was a fabulous guide as well as a very kind, friendly and gentle person. We really enjoyed our private tour and are still singing "That's Amore." If you hire Tony you will understand why. I discovered Sorrento Limosine on Trip Advisor after unsucessfully trying to find an affordable way for me, my husband and son to see Pompeii, Vesuvius and the Amalfi Coast through my travel agent. Anyway, I contacted Tony (the owner) who was very professional and extremely helpful from the start! Our driver, Gianluca, was fabulous! We arrived in Naples from Florence and he promptly met us at the train station and then drove us to Vesuvius and Pompeii where they had arranged for us to meet a knowlegeable tour guide. Pompeii - was the archeological highlight of our trip! He then took us to our hotel in Sorrento. Anyway, Gianluca spoke excellent English, was very professional, patient, and a "tour guide" in his own right as a Sorrento native. You do not just get a driver with Sorrento Limosine -- it is so much more than that. On another day, we also had Gianluca drive us all along the Amalfi Coast. Because of Gianluca's knowledge, he was very strategic about where and when we went to each town to avoid the large crowds and get the highest quality experience and best views in Amalfi, Ravello, and Positano. Gianluca also suggested and took us to one of the best restaurants we experienced on our whole Italy trip located at the top of Positano with spectacular views and all homegrown/homemade food! Gianluca knew the family so we we even got a picture with the matriarch in the kitchen! We never would have found this treasure on our own. Gianluca also took us to a ceramic factory and to a factory where inlaid wood music boxes and furniture are made. My sister collects music boxes so because of Gianluca, my sister not only got a music box but pictures of how it was made! As you can -- see - I cannot say enough about the quality of our experience or Sorrento Limosines and Gianluca! I highly, highly recommend them!
