During this shore excursion you will visit the ruins of Pompeii, have lunch with wine tasting at the feet of Mount Vesuvius and visit an olive oil farm nearby Sorrento.

Your English speaking driver will pick you up from the Amalfi port or Hotel at 8:30am.

The first stop will be at the ruins of Pompeii, the old town that was totally buried during the catastrophic eruption of Mount Vesuvius in the 79 A.D. Here you will have 2 hours to visit the highlights of the ruins on your own or hire an official licensed guide.
Then we will drive you at the winery called "Cantina del Vesuvio" where you will take a stroll through their vineyards and lear a bit of the different kind of viticulture, before to have lunch and taste the famous wine called Lacryma Christy (tears of Christ). Here you will be served some appetizers (bruschetta, salame, provolone and home made bread with extravirgin olive oil), spaghetti with the cherry tomatoes of Mt. Vesuvius and a dessert all accompanied by 5 different types of wine (white, red and roseè), to finish with 1 spumante and 1 distilled of apricot like digestive.

The last stop will be at the olive oil factory called Gargiulo nearby the town of Sorrento. Here you will visit the mill with the explanation of the owner of how the different machines work during the olive oil production and then you will visit their showroom with the opportunity to taste the best extravirgin olive oil and also the other olive oil infused with lemon, orange, parslin, garlic, onion, bruschetta and many other brands.

The tour will end at the port of Amalfi at 4:30pm.

We require only CASH payment in Euros at the end of the service.

The tour doesn't include lunch during the wine tasting (45 Euros per person), gratuities, entrance fees and the licensed guide in Pompeii.

Entrance fee for Pompei ruins is 18 Euros per person (kids under 18 years old will not pay the entrance showing a valid document).
