Iaccarino Sorrento Limousine Service is pleased to offer a tour of the Royal Palace of Caserta and a local winery. Our English-speaking driver will pick you up at your Sorrento or Naples hotel at 8am and drive you to Caserta.
At the Royal Palace, you'll be able to tour the largest royal palace in the world, which was constructed for the Bourbon Kings by Charles VII in 1752 and designed by Luigi Vanvitelli. After visiting the palace, you'll have the chance to take a stroll through its magnificent gardens, including the English Garden, designed by Carlo Vanvitelli and John Graefer. You can explore the gardens on your own or hire an official licensed guide.
Next, you'll visit the Cantina del Vesuvio, a winery born from the last eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 1944. Here, you'll have the opportunity to taste the famous "Lacryma Christy" wine and enjoy traditional food specialties of the Campania region. You'll sample four types of wine (white, red, rosé, and spumante), a distilled apricot drink, and a delicious meal of bruschetta, spaghetti, and a ricotta and corn pie.
The tour will end at your Sorrento hotel or port at 4pm.
