The Pompeii-Naples tour will last 8 hours trip (from 8am until 4pm) and is available from Sorrento, Positano and Amalfi (Hotels or Ports). During the tour you will visit the Archeological site of Pompeii and the highlights of the city of Naples (with the possibility to visit also the National Archeological Museum) and have lunch in the birthplace of the Pizza

The first stop will be in Pompeii, the ancient Roman Town that was totally buried by 25 feets of ash and pumice during the catastrophic eruption of Mount Vesuvius in the 79 A.D. Here you will have 2 hours to visit some of the highlights of Pompeii with the possibility to arrange an English speaking licensed guide or walk in the ruins on your own.

The next stop will be in the city of Naples that was originally founded from the Greek in the 6th century AD and named from the Greek word Nea-Polis that means New Town.

Here we will recommend you a nice Restaurant for lunch near the water front where you can taste the real Pizza Margherita cooked in the wooden burning oven and join an outstanding panorama.

Then we will drive you in the downtown of Naples near the famous Theatre San Carlo, where you can take a stroll through the Via Roma, Piazza Plebiscito, the Royal Palace and take a picture of the birthplace of the Pizza Margherita (named from the queen) called Brandi.

Then we will drive you to the National Archeological Museum for a visit of 1 and ½ hours and see where all the artifacts coming from Pompeii, Herculaneum and Oplontiis are well preserved.

The Pompeii and Naples tour will finish at the port or Hotel at about 4pm.

PAYMENT: We only accept cash payment in Euros.

NOT INCLUDED: lunch, gratuities, entrance fees for Pompeii and the National Archeological Museum and the additional cost to arrange a licensed guide in these sites.

INCLUDED: Taxes, Parking tolls and fuel.

-Entrance fees for Pompei ruins is 15 Euros per person (kids under 18 will not pay the entrance just showing a valid ID and it is free of charge for everybody only the 1st Sunday of each Month).

-Entrance fee to the National Archeological Museum is 10 Euros per person (weekly closed on Tuesday with the possibility to replace it with another site in Naples).
