This day trip is designed for people that will stay in Rome and wish visiting the region of TUSCANY and learning about wine production.
Our English speaking driver will pick you up from the hotel in Rome at 7am and drive you to the Tuscany region where the most famous city of Siena is located.
Here you will have free time to explore and visiting the main square, called Piazza del Campo, the home of the famous horse races called Palio that is celebrated twice at year, then you can also visit the Duomo.
After you will be driven to the local wineries in the heart of Chianti region, Torciano winery, where you can visit their wine cellar, try their own made olive oil and their impressive Balsamic Vinegar that has aged for 30-years. Of course with a light lunch you will try 4 different bottles of wine and 2 wine dessert which is made by them as well.
After lunch our driver will lead you to the charming town of San Gimignano with all it’s towers, that represent a small walled medieval hill town in the province of Siena important for its time and now one of the most visited towns in Tuscany. You have the afternoon here to explore its alleyways and small squares, shop for some of the typical Tuscan delicacies before to drive you back to the Rome Hotel in the late afternoon.

Lunch, gratuities and any entrance fees to attractions are not included.
The Price for wine tasting, tour of the cellars and typical Tuscan lunch is Euro 35 per person.
