This tour is designed for people staying in an Hotel in Rome that want to enjoy the highlights of Rome in a day.
Our English speaking driver will meet you at the hotel (suggested at 8:30am) and will drive to the historical center and begin the tour at the National Monument of Vittorio Emanuele II in Piazza Venezia.
The tour will continue towards the Roman and Imperial Forums that represent the Ancient Rome, your driver will take you up to the Capital where you have a magnificent view of the old city and Palatine Hills, continue on to the Coliseum which is the biggest Amphitheater in Italy. You have time to enter it and explore it better before passing by the Circus Maximus, to get to the glorious Pantheon. After you will see all the famous squares of the city, you will walk through the famed Piazza Navona, stopping at the Spanish Steps, before throwing the coin into the Trevi Fountain.
After a busy morning, there will be a pause for a traditional Italian lunch before heading over to the world’s smallest state; Vatican City. The duration of your afternoon will be spent in the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter Basilica before returning to your hotel at the end of the day.

We highly recommend for you to pre-purchase your Vatican ticketsonline for 2 pm.
We highly recommend for you to pre-purchase your Coliseum tickets online for 9:30 am.
St. Peter Basilica now requires all visitors to pay 1.5 Euro cash for Earphones.
-In the Vatican Museums shoulders and knees must be covered.
-The Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel are closed on Sundays with the exception of the last Sunday of every month.
-Because of the security checks and metal detector that has been added lately inside of the Coliseum, massive lines have been created to enter now, even with the tickets prebooked and guided tours. Infact we recommend an early morning pick up in order to enter it before the big lines are created or simply see it from the outside and enjoy more of the city instead.
-Important notice: The Basilica of St Peter’s might close for last minute ceremonies or mass. We will try to inform you as soon as we can but not always possible. In this case if you have booked a Vatican guide through us you will pay a lower fee for that.
-Museums including Coliseum are free first Sunday of the month so please note that there will be lines and crowds since tickets cannot be pre booked.
