This itinerary is designed for people who want to enjoy the food specialties especially wine of the Campania region and appreciate the Archeological site of Pompeii and the beauty of the Amalfi Coast with Positano.
Your English speaking driver will pick you up in the morning at the Salerno port at 7:30am and will drive you on the stunning Amalfi Coast where we will stop in Positano. Here you will have some free time to take a stroll from the parking area where you will driver will stop until to the Spiaggia Grande which is considered the downtown.
Then we will proceed to the "Cantina del Vesuvio" a winery located at the feet of Mount Vesuvius where they produce the famous wine called "Lacryma Christy" (tears of Christ). Here you will taste some appetizers, spaghetti with fresh cherry tomatoes and basil, to finish with the Pastiera Napoletana (our typical Easter cake), All the food will be accompanied by 5 wines (white, red and roseè), 1 spumante and 1 distilled of apricot like digestive.
The cost for lunch with wine tasting and the visit in the vineyards is 38 Euros per person.
The last stop will be at the Archeological site of Pompeii where you can visit the ruins for 2 hours on your own or hire an official licensed guide.
The tour will finish at the Salerno port at 4:30pm.
We require only CASH payment in Euros at the end.
The price doesn't include lunch, gratuities, entrance fees in Pompeii and the licensed guide in Pompeii.
The price include taxes, parking tolls and fuel.
Entrance fees for Pompeii (18 Euros per person) are free of charge for kids under 18 years old just showing a valid ID.
Lunch during the wine tasting will be 45 Euros per person (only 25 Euros for kids that will not drink wine).
Please note that the order of the places included in the itinerary can be altered during the high season (especially in June, July and August) for traffic issues.

All our drivers are trained to offer a running commentary about the history, local customs and culture of each site but only inside the vehicle infact if you wish to have someone that will walk with you in the sites (like the ruins of Pompeii and Herculaneum or the National Archeological Museum in Naples), you must arrange an official licensed guide.
